De Faveri's family

De Faveri's brothers (Antonio, Guerrino e Silvano who are respectively married to Gabriella, Nirvana e Giovanna) started their activity in 1968 when they bought "da Toni" restaurant (Toni is the shortest of Antonio, the oldest brother). When the Venice-trieste motorway was opened there were just a few people who used to drive through "the Triestina", so they had to find a way out for their business.

In 1971 De Faveris bought "Locanda Forte del 48" from Boroscos. Their restaurant was run by Antonio and his wife and De Faveri's mother, Virginia. Instead their hotel was run by Guerrino, Nirvana, Silvano and Giovanna, and in 1989 by Guerrino and his wife and their two children Lodovico and Prisca. In the same year they started refurbishing and enlarging the building. Then in 1999 it gained a third star for his quality, so it become one of the largest and most comfortable hotels in San Donà di Piave and low Piave area.

An historical inn...in San Donà's people's heart!

Hotel Forte del 48 is historically known as "Locanda of San Donà di Piave". Infact a lot of people,mostly the older ones, use this name to recall our hotel, as it is the symbol of their past and represents part of the history of our town. A century ago it was just a tavern, one of the first in town, today it has become a cozy three-star hotel in the center of the town, easily reacheable throuh the motorway A4, followin the Noventa di Piave exit
